Nov 01, 2024Earlier this year, Govee recently launched a new line of Evangelion-themed RGB LED lights. They're based on existing Govee products that have been meticulously designed to faithfully recreate the futuristic space-mecha vibe of the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime, from the color palette, patterns, shapes, and text to custom lighting presets that you won't find on the standard models. They do cost a premium compared to Govee's non-Evangelion-themed offerings, but right now, ahead of Black Friday, they're significantly discounted to the lowest prices we've seen on Amazon. There are several designs to choose from and they all look amazing. They'd make a pretty incredible gift idea for anime and gamer fans.
In addition to the Evangelion collaboration, these lights also feature all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a newly released premium LED light, including the use of RGBIC LEDs (which allow for more refined light control), Matter support, voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant, sound activation, and more. Govee is one of the largest manufacturers of RGB LED lights around and its pricing is very competitive. Recently, it's been pushing out higher-end lights that are better than the competition. For example, its Glide Hexagon Light Panels Ultra are the best light panels I've ever tried from any brand, offering unique features that are refreshingly different from the boring string lights and bulbs we see elsewhere.
