May 08, 2023Total Tools work light model recalled | Ranges Trader Star Mail
Total Tool’s Detroit 30W 2400 and 50W 4000 lumen LED work lights have been recalled.
The model numbers “DET30WACLED” and “DET50WACLED” can be found on the rating label on the work light.
The lights include a socket outlet for powering small devices or connecting additional lights.
The lights were available nationally and online between 6 January 2019 – 2 October 2024.
The products do not comply with the relevant electrical safety standard. Connecting devices to the electrical socket outlet in the unit may overload the circuit.
There is a risk of serious injury, death or property damage from fire if the circuit overloads and the wiring in the device overheats and ignites.
Stop using these products and return to any Total Tools store to receive a full refund.
